Sunlight on a face inspired this portrait of Lucrezia from The Borgias.
This painting of Lucrezia from The Borgias shows her gazing out of a window, with sunlight on her face. I received an honorary recognition at the Impression show at the Parrott Art Gallery in Belleville, Ontario.
Light on a face also draws me to Rembrandt’s portraits. My own family portraits are especially close to my heart.
