“As an aspiring artist, I never imagined the profound impact my work could have on fundraising efforts.

My journey began when I donated a piece to the Rotary Club of Belleville in support of the Children’s Foundation ,as well the Dave Mackay Memorial Golf Tournament that raises funds for local charities, benefiting the Grace Inn Shelter and Christmas Sharing,and from there, each donation led me to new organizations.

A painting of a beaver that was rescued in the Bell Creek area had a digital print sent to an organization in Scotland called the Scotland Wildlife Trust and it’s mandate was reintroducing beavers in their natural habitat of the country.

A breast cancer screening online fundraiser for the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation called BooBash in which a themed video of a pumpkin carving exercise of Elvira that was created under the production of Doug Knutson and his company Windswept Productions .https://youtu.be/J6vdAOYU9x8?si=t9vTolHXFxkZXvDU

Notably, I contributed to the city of Belleville Blues Fest fundraising, and after that, a piece went to the Quinte Ballet School fundraiser.

Most recently, a large custom piece was donated to the Gord Downie Brain Cancer Research Fund at Sunnybrook Hospital On the Tenth anniversary of The Tragically Hips farewell tour.

A Quinte Arts Council Mural Mosaic Project initiative that is about more than paint on canvas. It is about unity, belonging, and collective impact. Each participant paints one small tile — a personal expression that becomes part of a much larger image. When assembled, these thousands of individual works will form a striking visual story that reflects how creativity connects communities from coast to coast.This project was a great arts community incentive to support.

The support and feedback have been overwhelming. I want other artists to know that their work can mean so much more than they realize—these pieces can fuel real change, give voices to vital causes, and open doors to a brighter future. Artwork can impact so many variables, and the respect for a piece donated by an artist is truly insurmountable and deeply appreciated. As I continue this journey, I hope other artists realize their work can fuel real change.”
